“Test Method for Performance of Glass Fiber Reinforced Cement” GB/T15231-2023 National Standard Promotion and Training Meeting was held in Yiwu
The national standard "Test Method for Performance of Glass Fiber Reinforced Cement" GB/T 15231-2023 has been approved and issued by the State Administration for Market Regulation and the National Standardization Administration on November 27, 2023, and will be implemented on June 1, 2024. In order to cooperate with the smooth implementation of the standard, the China Building Materials Research Institute, the editor-in-chief of the standard, organized a standard publicity and training meeting in Yiwu, Zhejiang from June 20 to 22, 2024. More than 70 representatives from all over the country attended the meeting. The meeting was chaired by Professor Li Qinghai, the main drafter of the standard.
At the meeting, Dean Cui Qi delivered a speech on behalf of the editor-in-chief and the GRC Association, and introduced the current development status of the industry, especially emphasizing the importance of standards in promoting the development of the industry. Secretary-General Xue Wanyin of the National Technical Committee for Standardization of Cement Products, the department responsible for the management of the standard, made a report on "Solidly carrying out standardization work and helping to lead and improve standards", and gave a comprehensive explanation of the basic situation of standardization organizations, the requirements of relevant laws and regulations, the work process of standard formulation and revision, error prevention of standard texts, and suggestions for standard formulation and revision.
Professor Zhang Lijun of Beijing National Testing Holding Group Co., Ltd. interpreted in detail all sixteen chapters of the national standard "Test Method for Performance of Glass Fiber Reinforced Cement" GB/T 15231-2023 on behalf of the standard drafting team, and explained the key contents in theory and background, and arranged Q&A and discussion on the standard contents. The publicity and training effect was good and achieved the expected goals.
Four reports on new materials and technologies were arranged at the conference:

At the meeting, honorary certificates were issued to the main drafting units and main drafters of the national standard "Test Method for Performance of Glass Fiber Reinforced Cement" GB/T 15231-2023, and the winners and individuals of the China Concrete and Cement Products Association Standard Innovation Award.
